FOUR ARRESTED FOR CONCEALING DRUGS IN AN ELEPHANT SCULPTURE.



FOUR people have been arrested in Chirundu after they were found trafficking 4.01kilograms of cannabis compressed and concealed in an elephant sculpture.




The four have been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) through it's Anti-Drugs Operations Department in Chirundu.


DEC Public Relations officer Mathias Kamanga said the four suspects are in custody and will appear in court soon.


"The suspects are Isaac Simfukwe, aged 26 of Kuku township in Lusaka, Mtendere East in Lusaka, Johnson Sakala, aged 29 of Klopper Park in South Africa, Reuben Daka, a driver aged 51 and resident of House Number 11/16 Meanwood in Lusaka and Mike Daka, aged 29 who resides at House Number 72, Mtendere East, Lusaka for trafficking in 4.01kg compressed cannabis concealed in an elephant sculpture," he said.
